Worst company to ever exist. Don’t even bother applying for a job with them, they pay is terrible, the hours are terrible and you’ll lose more money than you earn. they’ll trick you into applying with the promise of 30+ work hours a week but they only give you 15 hours a week by the time you signed your contract. They will make you do buddy shifts for weeks on end until you get signed off by the careworker coach and they expect you to do the job perfectly with no mistakes, everyone makes mistakes sometimes but they don’t care. if they don’t sign you off then you’re stuck on more buddy shifts. They send male staff members to clients that only want female staff to assist with personal care, they stuff up the times, are difficult to get a hold of if anything goes wrong, the clients have made numerous complaints about management but none of those complaints have been addressed or resolved. No wonder why so many people are resigning and numerous clients are changing providers. They also don’t give you any notice when a client cancels and they will also falsely accuse you of things that never even happened. The only good thing about this job is the wonderful clients that I looked after. But even they can’t get ahold of the office to make changes. This has to be the most toxic workplace to ever work in. Stay away if you care about your mental health.

Australian unity is a terrible health fund. When requiring psychiatric help if you’ve had 3 or more admissions they question why your having admissions and have access to EVERYTHING including private and confidential notes between yourself and the psychiatrist
