St Basil's hundreds of staffs and visitors park cars outside of residential homes and making difficult for residents to find parking. This will be taken to local council.
St Basils Lakemba!!! Wouldn’t even give them 1 star but I had to just so I could write this review. This place brought me pure disgust. Putting any family member in a home is heartbreaking enough, let alone going to visit them everyday and seeing how they have been neglected was worse. Although everyday we spoke to the "carers" to have him assesed by a doctor cause he couldn't walk, wasnt eating, wasnt drinking, they would tell you we will book an appointment for the dr to see him, yet they had no updates on file about what the dr said or what the issue was. They are very big on being "greek speaking & greek community" but The night staff did not speak Greek or English, they were over worked and didnt give a damn. The hygiene was poor, you had to ask for them to come and clean or it wouldn't get done. You hear all these horror stories about nursing homes, and this experience was definately one. It cost us a loved one because of their negligence and lack of care. Terrible place would not recommend this nursing home to anyone who wants their loved ones looked after, you get treated better in jail.
We have my dad here, he has been here for 2 months now, they are amazing, so helpful, and very clean. There are staff everywhere to help you. The food my father loves it is 95% greek and includes stifado, fasoles, lentils, chicken soup, and greek coffee twice a day. So glad we put him there, he is happy, very well looked after and comfortable. Panayiota, and Evangelia are absolutely beautiful and so so helpful. The nurses really care.
