We are truly grateful for the care and love shown to Dad by the staff at Abel Tasman Village. The Lifestyle Team are constantly coming up with great ideas and activities for the residents and the nursing staff kept us in the loop and were genuinely interested in Dad's well being. The grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms are well kept with polite staff. Thankyou Abel Tasman Village!

Contacted Abel Tasman to enquire about home care support. Received an initial email response saying they were able to provide the support and very interested. Sent further information back and got no response - sent follow up emails and still got no response. Very discourteous company - because if this is how they behave BEFORE you engage them contractually - with no responses, I can only imagine how bad they are after a contractual engagement when they have your money. If they weren't interested, then a very simple email would have been appropriate. Based on this experience, I would say Caveat Emptor!
Sadly my Father was only there for 21days. I couldn't praise the staff highly enough. The care and compassion for Dad and extended to us was beyond the highest standards. Well done to all staff.
