To remain extra safe I'll keep it short. I'm afraid to provide too many details publicly right now. I was forced to quit due to a situation caused by those who took advantage of me, unethically so. They did the wrong thing, gave me a raise, then tried to convince me to sign something that looked as though they were trying to shift the blame on me instead, and said I needed to sign it if I wanted to keep working there. Reply to CPL's Response: I think I've already tried all I could do back when I had just left CPL. Those I spoke with, many didn't do the right thing back then. I think the only way there could be any resolution in there is for CPL to do the right thing by all involved.
A terribly useless org. Contacted them for some assistance with my 2 year old who has CP when I was in the hospital. This org picked up the phone but never got back to me despite follow ups. Extremely disappointed in CPL for abandoning us when we needed help the most. I have since been spreading the news about how useless they have been in our most distressful situations. On another occasion, my child's daycare contacted them for resources and/or help, and they said they couldn't help and also they couldn't even provide resources. Pathetic and useless group you are, treating the most vulnerable people this way.
For a large organisation, the quality of care at CPL has been consistently good, in my experience. They have a broad range of services and are well organised when it comes to scheduling and changes. I'm very happy with my care.
My mother has Dementia and taking her here once a week gives me some time without worrying about her and gives her time to spend with others in her age group
