Community Care TASMANIA has helped Tasmanians live safely at home since 1990. Starting as a Launceston Migrant Resource Centre pilot, it grew from a specialist service for culturally and linguistically diverse communities into a trusted provider across the North, North West and South, delivering local, person‑centred support that adapts to evolving needs.

In recent years the organisation has earned state and national recognition for innovation, employer excellence and community engagement. Its inclusive programs include creative arts and social connection initiatives, tailored support for Bhutanese and Nepalese newcomers, and a volunteer visitor service for residents in aged care across Northern Tasmania—strengthened by grants and philanthropy from the W.D. Booth Estate Foundation, the Better Access to Palliative Care in Tasmania program and the Tasmanian Community Fund.
