Never had a problem.here...its small so not long queues . The podiatrists Mark and Leonie are fantastic and knowledgeable

Damaging counselling service provided to vulnerable people in order to re-traumatise. The unskilled, unqualified and very judgmental so-called counsellors at St Kilda, particularly Heather, don't understand or are not at all concerned about the do-no-harm policy. Untrustworthy and unsafe government-funded service run by Roger who is simply there to protect the image. Contacting 1800 respect after a counselling session says all you need to know about BHN.

Administration so inefficient, system inefficient very frustrating

Wanted to say a huge thank you to Cathy from the intake team. She was so helpful and followed up my case and made the process so fast. I was really struggling and she understood timing was important so went out of her way to help. She was also very kind and reassuring on the phone. Thank you Cathy!!

The absolute worst of the worst!!! If I could I’d give MINUS 1,000 stars!! First up, someone took their disabled brother there in a wheelchair today, only to have the receptionist ring TWO MINUTES BEFORE TO CANCEL with NO GIVEN REASON. The pre booked appointment was for 9am. The sister took 1hr to drive there, and It took paying an ndis paid worker to have appropriate support people present. Lucky they did. For they both witnessed the absolutely despicable attitudes of the female “Margaret” acting as a physio. Who was so rude, blunt, improper and inappropriate, that it warrants this complaint review to hopefully stop others having to go through the same ordeals. The receptionist first would not give a reason for the 2 minute prior cancellation. But after being asked for their complaints contact details, which were NEVER GIVEN, they scarpered off into the back room, then came out and said “it’s because he’s in an aged facility” Ummm… so????? Then they finally, clearly begrudgingly, in fact- with them clearly detesting, said the brother can see the physio. This female was so rude it was mind boggling. She didn’t want to know any appropriate injuries or illnesses that any half decent medical professional needs, and many have asked. She didn’t care less what diagnosis he had. One despicable claim she made was that bc he could lift his arms a little, that being told he has had broken collar bones in an accident so he was restricted in his arm movement, she said “looks fine to me” (quote) wow!! She was not at all interested in what the sister or support worker had to say. Despite it being critical information. Several times she completely disregarded the sisters comments about his conditions. Her constantly throwing evil looks at the sister, telling her “she’s the professional” (ego issue) and that “she will be the one to decide…” when she wouldn’t even listen to what the patients issues were! At one point the sister asked a question of genuine interest towards helping the brother: “What’s your opinion on if it’s good or not to have good blood flow in his foot?” But ohhhh the response!! Telling the sister to not ask questions!! And that she’s not going to answer and never did!! She also harped on like a broken record about wanting to know who the NDIS contacts are, despite being told it’s nothing necessary for her to know (which it isn’t) and that she did not have consent nor authority to make the demands she was. This seemed to be what tipped her over the edge, as she became obnoxious after this. So it seems she’s not used to being told her CLAIMS of authority are incorrect and inappropriate, and that she’s acting abhorrently, is not something she’s used to being confronted with. Well folks, it’s about time ALL PEOPLE stopped letting so called “professionals” just walk all over us! STOP letting these bad ones CLAIM to be superior, and having the right to ignore you, and talk down to you, and to not explain themselves when challenged, not apologise, and basically being a down right jerk. They need to be held accountable for their appalling behaviour if that’s what it is. It’s time there is FAR MORE people speaking out about inappropriate behaviour from those allegedly here to CARE for others. Particularly those that can’t speak or fend for themselves. It is utterly unacceptable to not give them and their loved ones and support people the same, if not more, respect that they often DEMAND for themselves. “Margaret” was so rude, all the 3 of them after leaving were in shock at how disgusting she was and had to take time to digest what had happened. It also confirmed no way in heck would they return. Which also means the brother has to go through all that again with another one. Margaret clearly thinks she’s a God like figure, and unfortunately, but not surprisingly, has the support of the receptionist staff to allow clients to be treated so badly, and that all should bow to her. This is a common problem among those CLA Well, some people actually won’t tolerate such nasty behaviour. I am one.
