Dovida Perth

Writing on behalf of my Auntie and Nonna as I am currently residing with my family. My Nonna gets carers twice weekly for personal care and cleaning. Both my Auntie and Nonna have been distressed and frustrated by the lack of communication and inconsistency with workers. My Nonna - who is 96 - has to get undressed infront of new staff every other week! It is stripping her of her dignity and makes it impossible to build trust and rapport with the care staff. All they have asked for is continuity and honesty. I would think twice about signing on with this company…

I engaged Home Instead three years ago for my father who was on a Home Care Package Level 3. The name changed to Dovida during this time but there was no change to the staff and excellent service my dad received. I cannot speak highly enough of my dad's Care Manager, Lois. Her knowledge and dedication to ensure my dad got the best care was to be commended. This extended to when my dad was in respite and in hospital. The carers that visited my dad were also lovely, were good at their job and communicated well. I liked how Dovida rostered the same carer to visit each week and at the same time.
